Management Team:
Our Board:
Board Chairman / Governance and Finance: Bob Dieckmann
Bob is a co-founder of Fifty Plus Fitness Pty Ltd. His interest in this project was
stimulated through his many years of involvement as a sports coach and in his role
as a community development person. In his role as manager of a sport and
recreation facility in 2004, an opportunity to become involved with the Queensland
Population Health Unit presented itself. At that time Bob, and his son John, realised
that there was a great need in the ageing community for both physical and mental
activities to be specifically tailored for this demographic. The concept for Fifty Plus
Fitness was born.
Currently Bob is actively involved at board level as the Chairman and Finance
Officer. He is also involved in the day to day management and development of the company.

Board member / Executive Director / Marketing and Human Resources: James
Newbury

James Newbury Chief Executive Officer: James has been involved in several
industries through family companies, such as Wine, FMCG's, Cosmetics and Sun
Care. He has been involved with the development of 50 Plus Fitness since late 2006,

Dieckmann

John Dieckmann - Program Director: As a co-founder of Fifty Plus Fitness Pty Ltd,
John is passionate about the development and delivery of group activities to the
ageing demographic. Teaming up with his father and co-founder Bob, and working
with a specialised creative team John has overseen the production of safe, fun and
beneficial activities for the ageing population. John has played a major role in the
development and trials of unique activities that form the basis of the Fifty Plus
Fitness "Action and Mobility" programs used today. As well as his role in developing
the programs, John in collaboration with the South Bank Institute of Technology, coauthored
the training material that is registered with Fitness Australia. The ongoing
role of John and his creative team is to keep up with demand and continue
producing the diverse and enjoyable activities used in the Fifty Plus Fitness group
fitness programs. The board portfolio of program development and training keeps
John active as a board member.

Board member / Communications Director: Cameron Greatbatch
Cameron Greatbatch - Marketing Director: In 2000 Cameron started a career in
Advertising & IT when he formed the company Shock Media Studios in Fortitude
Valley Brisbane QLD. For the next 5 years SMS built up a very strong clientele base
including such companies as Macair airlines, Regional Link Airlines,
realestate.com.au, Queensland Tourism, & a large number of national property
development companies. In late 2005 Cameron was approached to (and did) sell
Shock Media Studios. Cameron's passion for real estate, as well as persuasion by
former clients, lead Cameron back to the family's company Great realty, in 2006.
Cameron will take charge of the responsibilities associated with developing and
maintaining the Media / IT function of the company
